Dr. Sonja Rosen, M.D. is a geriatrician and a Los Angeles CA-based Consultant. She is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine. Dr Rosen’s research and clinical interests include safe transitions of care and safe prescribing in older persons, geriatric assessment, combatting social isolation, and fall prevention. She is the author of multiple chapters and research publications in these areas. She has extensive experience as a medical director, chief and clinician.

Dr. Rosen has been delivering expert testimony since 2005 and has extensive experience as a medical director, chief and clinician and can opine on standard of care in hospital, nursing home, assisted living facilities, and ambulatory care setting, as well as life expectancy, functional decline, elder abuse and neglect. She is a subject matter expert in geriatric syndromes including but not limited to dementia, delirium, falls and injury prevention, polypharmacy, functional decline, goals of care. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine.
